Regional Director - Boston
After 15 years of working to strengthen the resources of schools and educational non-profits, Jess is excited to join DREAM as the Boston Regional Director. Jess began her career as a high school English teacher in the Upper Valley of NH. She travelled to the Pacific and built a teaching program that connects the talents of Dartmouth College graduates and students of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. As the Director of Volunteers & Interns she also managed and doubled the volunteer resources for the Waikiki Aquarium in Honolulu. Recently, Jess settled in the South Shore of Massachusetts where she spearheaded fundraising campaigns for The Arc of Massachusetts and The Newton Public Schools.
Jess graduated from Dartmouth College in 2001 with a BA in English and Secondary Education and earned her MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with concentrations in social business and non-profit management. From 2010-11, Jess served on the Boston Board for DREAM. For Jess DREAM is where her roles as mentor, teacher, manager and fundraiser culminate into one exciting job. She has been a huge fan of the organization since its origins at Dartmouth. In her spare time Jessica loves to spend time with her family, have "adventure days" with her daughter and quahog in Cape Cod.
