Michael Loner

CEO (Chief Empowerment Officer) and Vermont Regional Director

Mike has been with DREAM since March of 2005 and has a varied background. Prior to joining DREAM, Mike was an Environmental Technician at a major pharmaceutical company, a Project Manager for a municipal solid waste district in Vermont, and has been a board member for several nonprofits as well as a former Planning Commissioner in the City of St. Albans. He and his wife Vicki live with their nine year old daughter Alexandria and dog Ellie in Hinesburg, Vermont.


Mike is currently a member of the Governor appointed Children and Family Council for Primary Prevention and sits on the Board of Directors for Mobius. Mike has a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Vermont, is a member of the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration and was recently named the Marshall E. Dimmock Alumni Awardee for his work in public administration and nonprofit management. He has an Associates of Applied Science degree in Forestry from Paul Smiths College and a Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Science from Plattsburgh State University.
