Safety & Incident Reporting
Participant safety is the number one priority for the DREAM Program. The DREAM Program follows federal and state “Best Practices” when screening and orienting volunteers and institutes strict policies for participant safety during program activities. For a full review of DREAM’s organization risk management, please review our Risk Management page.
Within Local Programs, all mentors are oriented in, and asked to abide by, our Mentor Boundaries & Guidelines. In addition, mentors and volunteers are oriented to basic indicators of child abuse and neglect and asked to communicate with their supporting DREAM office when concerns arise.
The forms below are used for mentor orientation, incident documentation and reporting when concerns for children arise.
